Supercar Sunday 27th August 2017!

Over 20 Supercars will be arriving in Kenilworth on Sunday 27th August to help raise funds for McMillan Cancer Support and Myton Hospice. The cars will be at The Tiltyard pub from 10 am to 4 pm and for a d onation to charity, supercar fans will be able to have a ride in one of the many available. Confirmed models include Mustang, Aston Martin, Ferarri, Caterham and Jaguar F-type and many more. There will also be a bouncy castle face-painting and a hog roast and bbq plus a festival of real ales and craft cider. If the hog roast and bbq don’t appeal, there is also the option to have a traditional Sunday roast in the pub restaurant!

In the evening, popular local band Blues Extra will be entertaining the clientele with two crowd-pleasing sets of blues and rock covers. With unique arrangements of well-loved favourites from Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Thin Lizzie and more this will be the band’s second appearance at the Tiltyard this year.

Drummer and Kenilworth resident Tony Ashpool said

“Ever since I was 10 I have been fascinated by fast cars and I can’t wait to get in one or two and get taken for a drive! I think it’s brilliant that AJ and his team have managed to get so many to come along the pub to help raise money for charity. We’re also delighted to be asked back to play for the locals on what is one of the pub’s biggest days of the year.”

It will be the band’s second gig of the day and they will be performing from 8 pm.
